Project Overview
Post Tensioning of the extension of bridge B2225 and B2227 for the dual carriageway on the N4.
Scope of Work
- Supply of Post Tensioning materials ie. tendon supports, sheathing, strand and anchorages, installation of strand and making of cast in dead en anchorages, tensioning and grouting of the post tensioning for both bridge B2225 and B2227.
Project Challenges

Assembly
Assembly of the dead end anchorages was very challenging because of to the confined space caused by the reinforcing that was required within the transverse beam where these anchorage needed to be positioned. -
Time constraints
Time was a challenge due to the disruption of the routes that community takes to commute to and through the town.
Execution Highlights

Smart Collaboration
Working hand in hand with Raubex lead to the successful installation of the dead end anchorages as well as ensured that both bridges were finished ahead of programme which made the community very happy.
